Prodigal Magazine
Through my connections with Wrecked for the Ordinary, I have started submitting articles to Prodigal Magazine! If you haven’t heard of Prodigal, they are an up-and-coming men’s Christian magazine and have over 2,000 articles ranging from fantasy football to fatherhood.
I am also beginning talks with them to get a book review for Green Bean Spirituality, and I am still waiting on a review from Wrecked for the Ordinary on a review from them as well. As of now, that’s two pending reviews, and I hope to see how the Christian community is responding to my work.
Another big thing on the horizon is a possible interview with with “The Bi-Weekly Show” to discuss my other writing opportunities.
Thanks for staying tuned guys! If you want to read my article on Prodigal Mag, click here or go to the My Works page.

More Articles!
I have really been growing to love Jeff Goins and the lovely people at Wrecked for the Ordinary!
Within the past month and a half or so, they have run two more articles I have written! Count this as my excuse for not writing any essays as of late, seeing that I can only commit myself to so much literature without my Math GPA heading south.
I need to take the time to thank all of you who have been keeping up with my work. Thanks to all of you, my articles on this site have well exceeded 600 already! Because you all have been great about reading and posting comments, I have been able to continue writing for Wrecked for the Ordinary.
Also, a book review from one of their younger writers has been in the works for a little while, and will hopefully be available to you all very soon.
Check out the ‘My Works’ page to read the articles if you haven’t already!

My First Article!
A friend of mine directed me to a snazzy online magazine called Wrecked for the Ordinary. The columnists focus on issues revolving around modern spirituality, and social justice issues.
Just today, they accepted a piece I submitted into them, thus being the first press to publish one of my works! You can check the site out here, or just my article here.

Yet Another Essay…
I don’t feel like I was trying to be festive…but today I released another essay to the public!
You can find it on the “My Works” page under the heading “On Personal Worth: Infinity is Greater than Zero.” Naturally, I encourage you all to read it, then join the facebook group for Someday Published and comment on the forum! You can click here to join the group!
I do have another essay almost finished, but I will hold out a little bit on that so as to keep you all reading!
Once again, more to come as it develops!

New Narrative!
It’s true, I am not Nicholas Sparks, but I can write romantic too! I guess not as much though because while his titles are things like “A Walk to Remember” mine is “An Invitation to Stink.” In any case, I put a new narrative up today about a lesson I learned in the humility of romance! I absolutely LOVED writing this piece because I could finally put words to feelings I have been articulating for years! I hope you guys enjoy the piece, I really had a great time writing it!
In other news, Green Bean Spirituality got it’s first flurry (3) of reviews the other day, and I am getting excited about hearing more of what people think! You can go the Amazon page and check out the reviews there, or go to the Facebook group for Someday Published and go to town there!
That is all for now! I will keep you guys all posted!

New Essay!
Some people sit around and enjoy fruitcake over the holidays…
Unfortunately, I don’t enjoy fruitcake, and I didn’t really “sit around.” Today I finished my essay which is my debunking of the best-selling book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Though the essay is my most analytical piece, I think it will probably cause a pretty interesting controversy. Not to say thats its goal, but I see that as a possible fallout!
In any case, Happy Holidays everyone! Though my Christmas present to all of you is a philosophical essay, I hope it doesn’t encumber you with all the stuff philosophical reading typically does myself! However, I will be putting a creative piece up soon which will be of a bit more light nature!
Also, the book is finally up on Amazon and anxiously awaiting it’s first batch of reviews! I look forward to seeing how the whole thing pans out! If you have read it, swing over to the Amazon page and write a quality review that doesn’t mention that you know me (assuming you do). OR if you don’t have a copy, pick one up from there or the “My Works” page over there in the sidebar on the right!
Well, that’s all for now! Check out the Bio page for an upload of an interview a friend of mine had with me to find out more about Mitchell Ebbott, the book, and drawing on babies!

A Big Week!
As most of you already know, I finally finished writing my “Religion and Politics” essay. Don’t be afraid of it please, it is a normal and healthy discussion of how politics has divided the Christian community. Check it out on the “My Works” page! Also, try to get on the Facebook group “Someday Published” and post comments on the forums! All feedback is appreciated greatly!
Next, I need money. I am getting ready to register for the Philadelphia Book Fair and it costs upwards of 400$. I don’t have that anywhere in my couch cushions…so I need all of your help! Here is some motivation: all those who donate 20$ or more get a first crack at the books when they release. You could get your copy for up to a few weeks before anyone else could, which gives you plenty of time to read it by the time your peers get it! So, if that isn’t motivation enough, send me an email with any ideas you can think of to get excited about donating to the publication!
Finally, I am done with essays for a little while. I need to really focus on the book at this point, so try to spend time on the “My Works” page brushing up on my essays/narratives/poetry pieces. The other piece of prose I have floating around coffee shops could find it’s way up on the site soon, we’ll see how it all works out. More to come on that! Stay posted, keep coming to the site, and tell your friends! Now is about the time where I really need to work on generating buzz, and I need your help (as always!).
Cheers!
